Why they were selected:
The Reds and Dodgers of the 70's had classic battles and pennant races.  They lost in the series to the Yankees in 6 games in both 1977 and 1978.  The 1977 team set the standard for power teams in the 70Õs with 4 players each hitting 30 HR or more (Garvey, Cey, R. Smith and Baker).
